Eat fish, lower your colon cancer risk: study

Recent research suggest eating a high-fish diet can reduce your risk of colon cancer. (Thinkstock)Eat a lot of fish? New research published in the American Journal of Medicine suggests that you likely have a lower risk of colon and rectal cancer than those who do not.

Colorectal cancer is currently the second leading cause of death from cancer in Canadian men and women. The Canadian Cancer Society estimates that 23,300 Canadians will be diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2012 and that 9,200 will die of it.
