If you've heard of Star Wars, then you've heard of Darth Vader. He was born Anakin Skywalker, but later on became Darth Vader when he succumbed to the dark side. He goes on to reign with evil, but he dies an honorable death after he defends his son, Luke Skywalker, from Emperor Palpatine. What a lot of non-fans don't know is that the Darth Vader suit was actually a life support system. That's why he had that weird breathing noise whenever he talked. But that suit and that breathing noise has become quit iconic all throughout history since its inception, and that's why it is also one of the more popular characters that is being portrayed every year by hundreds of people during Halloween.
